The person selected for this professional-technical position will serve as a unified employee as the responsible line and staff administrator for development. This position is directly responsible to the General Manager, Vegas PBS.

DEAN OF STUDENTS, SECONDARY SCHOOL RECRUITMENT OF OUT-OF-DISTRICT APPLICANTS ONLY

Position Code: A070 THE POSITION:
This position functions to provide assistance to the principal in all assigned activities at the school site with primary responsibility in the areas of discipline and attendance. This position is directly responsible to the school principal and/or designee. Successful candidates will be added to an eligibility pool from which appointments may be made for a period of three (3) years from the date of placement.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RECRUITMENT OF OUT-OF-DISTRICT APPLICANTS ONLY

Position Code: A052 THE POSITION:
This position functions to provide assistance to the principal with all school activities and assigned responsibilities and to assume complete charge in the absence of the principal. Under the supervision of the principal, this position supervises instruction and itinerant personnel, supervises staff and pupil activities, and serves in a leadership role in parent and community affairs. This position is directly responsible to the school principal.
Successful candidates will be added to an eligibility pool from which appointments may be made for a period of three (3) years from the date of placement.

This position functions as the instructional leader and chief administrative officer of a senior high school. Responsibilities include direction of the instructional program, operation of the school plant, coordination of staff and pupil activities, and participation in community affairs in a leadership role. This position is directly responsible to the appropriate Area Associate Superintendent. Successful candidates will be added to an eligibility pool from which appointments may be made for a period of three (3) years from the date of placement.
